Dear Sirs, I understand my distant cousin came to Australia by ship with horses from the UK some time in or before 1915.
I have found he enlisted into AASC in Melbourne on the 26.6.1915.He sailed to France on 3.6.1916. was discharged 9.11.1919 in London. At enlistment he was 22 years of age,his army No 10944. His name George Gillett Taylor born 1892 Cambridgeshire UK.
My question is did he arrive in N.S.W.if so when? I found no record of him arriving in Victoria, Will appreciate your help, with thanks Yours Faithfully C J Taylor.
